Gregory Porter: Sold Out!

We've limited the capacity of the concert at Municipal House in accordance with the current government guidelines, and ticket sales have now been stopped. A reduced-capacity 1000 seats have been sold. Conditions for entry to the concert here. We look forward to seeing you.

Caroline Shaw in the ArtZóna

On the day of the concert, the ČT team recorded an interview with Caroline Shaw, which will be on view on the ArtZóna program on November 2.

Caroline Shaw & Attacca Quartet in Prague

The artists for this year's opening concert of Strings of Autumn have arrived in Prague and are preparing for their performance on October 19th at DOX +, where we can look forward to music from the Grammy-winning album 'Orange,' as well as other pieces featuring Shaw herself as a singer.

Madeleine Peyroux's Czech Debut Postponed to 2022

The pandemic situation continues to cause complications, and has unfortunately affected Madeleine Peyroux's upcoming tour. Peyroux has announced the postponement of her Strings of Autumn concert, scheduled for October 28th. We are currently working on a new date for 2022.Ticketholders will be informed of further developments by e-mail. Thank you for understanding.

Gregory Porter and Ondřej Pivec Return to Strings of Autumn

An American singer and a Czech Hammond organist: two inimitable artists who've collaborated on a Grammy-winning album. And it was Strings of Autumn that first brought them together for the festival's Spring Gala concert in 2013. In December, just a few weeks after Porter and his band play four sold-out shows at London's Royal Albert Hall, he will return in a unique, intimate set-up to the festival where his journey with Ondřej Pivec began. Their concert in the Smetana Hall of Municipal House on December 3rd will bring to an end the jubilee 25th year of the multi-genre festival.

Makaya McCraven Cancels European tour

Jazz drummer Makaya McCraven's scheduled Strings of Autumn concert on November 9th will not take place this year. The American artist has decided to postpone his entire European tour until next year, and the festival is currently negotiating a new date in autumn 2022. Ticket holders will be notified by email when we have more news on this.

The Prague Sounds on the Floating Stage are over, it's time for Strings of Autumn

Five exceptional concerts were performed on the open stage on the Vltava. Another eight no less exceptional ones await you in the concert and theater halls from October 19 to November 22.

A sixth-tone harmonium on Offstring as an impressive overture to Strings of Autumn

Before the Strings of Autumn is fully heard, you can experience the Prague premiere of the only composition for the sixth-tone harmonium by the pioneer of microtonalmusic Alois Hába more than 90 years after its composition as part of the Offstrings program. Plus the world premiere of Ian Mikyska's IN for sixth-tone harmonium. The concert will take place in the St. Agnes Monastery on October 15.
