Support the festival

The Strings of Autumn festival is a non-profit cultural project with a fifteen-year tradition, and has gained international renown for the excellence of its programming and the uniqueness of the concert experiences it offers. But Strings, like other Czech cultural organisations, has to face up to the harsh realities of arts funding in this country. Public funding accounts for onlyt 30% of the festival budget, and another 20% comes from ticket sales.

Since we want to continue to bring international stars to Prague and maintain our high standards of concert production, we find ourselves dependent to a considerable extent on financial support from the private sector: from corporate sponsors, and also from you, our festival patrons.

Your contribution is of real value to the festival. With your help, we will be able to keep bringing world-class performers to Prague and continue in our mission to push back the boundaries of the Czech cultural scene. The funds raised will go primarily towards payment of artists’ fees and rental of festival concert venues. We’ll be glad to provide written confirmation of receipt of your donation on request.

The Spring Strings GALA for Strings of Autumn

The Spring Strings GALA is a high-profile cultural and social event: a fundraising evening providing individuals and companies with the chance – by buying tickets to the event – to show their support for Strings and become patrons of the arts in Prague.

Tickets can be purchased in various categories:

-    individual gala tickets,

-    tickets for a whole table (ten places) or tables,

-    concert-only tickets in lower price categories.
